Hawaiian Days

I so miss Hawaii! Every time I look back at the photos I miss it even more. I’m going to get Mikey to take me one day when he goes back there He has no choise! He just HAS to! Here’s a really beautiful shot I found.

I remember Mikey diving out of the boat there, crazy! He loves the water so much it’s like you could throw him in the middle of the ocean and he would love every minute of swimming back to the beach. I remember the stories him and his friends used to tell us, I think he’s ran into sharks like more than 5 times, and he still loves the beach, just thinking about it makes me want to stay out the water! Miss you crazy boy!

Lost Memories

A long time ago I was invited over to my best friends beach house, it was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen, I think it still is. One of those moments I find myself thinking about a lot when i’m upset or down to cheer me up. It’s sad sometimes too, you can’t imagine how beautiful it is there. The picture tells one story but being there, waking up and sitting up in bed to have that be the first thing you see in the morning, it’s amazing. I miss him sometimes, a lot, I miss being at the beach with him, watching him surf and wipe and have my heart skip a beat for him until he gets back on his board.

Those were some really good days, days i’ll never ever forget!

Colorful Friends

I was going through some of my photo archives and I found one of me and my best friend CJ! She’s in France right now and I miss her so so much. I remember the times we used to just play with makeup as children and dress up, a little while back we thought it would be funny to do that again. I guess the child in us never leaves, sort of just stays there waiting for the moment you call upon it to enjoy life and be silly. I don’t know if that makes much sense to anyone, but at that very moment, we were children again, without a care in the world…

We all miss those days i’m sure, get in touch with you best friend now, say hi, show them you care. It’s the least you can do, you owe it to them and yourself.

Smile, be happy!

I love capturing moments of happiness, laughter, people playing and just having fun. It brings photographs to life and it’s a source of joy every time you look at them. My friend Kim had gotten back from Germany, she had been having a rough couple of months, breaking up, finding a new job, and figuring out where she wants to live. It was rare to see her smile and it just makes me sad. So I took her out and we walked and walked for hours. I took close to 40 shots of her, and by the end of the day, I got it! That one perfect shot I wanted to capture. Something to give her, to remind her that it’s all going to be fine int he end.

My friends mean the world to me, and to see them happy, smiling, laughing, that’s the greatest a friend could give me! We’ll be hanging out a lot again so every time i catch her laughing her heart out, it’ll snap a picture and share! Smile! Be Happy!
